Week 8 of the high school football season was full of surprises and big-time upsets. We start with our 'Big Game' which featured undefeated Marvin Ridge traveling to the up-and-coming Porter Ridge. Marvin Ridge was looking to shut down the Porter Ridge after only giving up 16 points all season but the Pirates had upset on the mind.The game was tight throughout and came down to the last seconds with the Mavericks on a long drive to win the game when Pirates Christian Hart intercepted Mavericks quarterback Chandler LeDoyen with 27 seconds left on the clock to seal the huge upset victory for Porter Ridge.We have complete coverage of the 'Big Game' on our High School Football <http://www.wsoctv.com/tu/5KttGHym3.html> with game highlights, FACES IN THE CROWD slideshow, cheerleader images and much more. as the longest in the state of Florida. Jupiter had not lost since the 2007 opening game.Independence survived a huge scare on Friday night at Providence rallying from 10 points down in the fourth quarter to win 31-27 to stay unbeaten.
