Week 7 of the high school football game proved to be a very exciting one and
was led with our 'Big Game' of the week Charlotte Christian at Charlotte
Latin.What a game it was when Christian came from behind twice to tie the score
and got a key interception by linebacker Kelby Brown late in the 4th quarter
with the score 35-35, they had a chance for the win.The Knights called on a
freshman kicker to win the HUGE game for them and Wes Medeiros took full
advantage of his opportunity and made the 34-yard field goal with 8 seconds
left to give the Knights a 38-35 win over rival Latin.The win improves
Christian's record to 5-1 and with the loss Latin drops to 5-1 and you can bet
these two teams will meet again in the playoffs.We have full highlights of this
