Week 5 of the high school football season was full of surprises and that was
evident at our 'Big Game' – Concord First Assembly at Providence Day. It was a
great game but at the end of the game it got ugly, as a brawl broke out after
First Assembly returned an interception for a touchdown.Punches and helmets
were thrown and the benches cleared as First Assembly recorded its biggest win
in school history, 24-12.We have the highlights from the 'Big Game' and of
course the video of the fight at the conclusion of the game on our High School

slideshow from the FACES IN THE CROWD.In other action, Butler continued their
winning ways over West Charlotte and Independence stayed unbeaten with win over
Vance, 40-7 on Thursday.The shocker of the week was Charlotte Christian getting upset by Jireh Prep School, 7-0 in a defensive struggle.
