Round 2 of the prep playoffs was a very exciting one and included a couple
NCISAA championship games. Our 'Big Game' was a rematch of the last three
Division 1 NCISAA state title games – Charlotte Latin at Charlotte
Christian.The game didn't live up to the hype as the Hawks shut down the
Knights to exact revenge from last season's title game and their only defeat
this season at the hands of Christian. The Hawks defense controlled the entire
game holding the Knights to only one touchdown late in the fourth quarter and

Charlotte Christian pre-game locker room speech by head coach Jason Estep.Butler's dream season rolled on Friday with a dominating 70-16 win over West Forsyth. The Bulldogs scored 42 points before West Forsyth completed its first pass. Butler will host East Meck on Friday night in the third round of the playoffs.Independence has little trouble with Mallard Creek on Friday night and went on to win 49-20 advancing on to the third round to play at powerhouse Richmond Senior on Friday night.
